History:

Since the 1990s, passionate Muslim academics in Europe have worked tirelessly to provide their community with top-notch theological education. This incredible effort has united thousands of students, hundreds of academic studies, and dozens of professionals, all making meaningful contributions to European society.

Thankfully, this valuable knowledge and experience will be recovered. A group of dedicated academics established the “ORANJE INSTITUUT” in 2018 to ensure this incredible journey continues with expert teachers in their respective fields. With all the accumulated principles and experience, we are confident that this new institute will soar to even greater heights and make an even more significant impact.

This success and achievement should be passed down to reliable hands and continue uninterrupted. And with the ORANJE INSTITUUT, we are confident that the future of theological education in Europe is brighter than ever!

Principles:

Having administrative and academic staff with transparency, openness to feedback, collaboration, ethics, productivity, and innovation is crucial for future generations.

At the Oranje Institute, we promote theological education through an independent approach that prioritizes consultation and draws on our past successes and experiences.

Objective:

Offering university-level educational programs, the objectives of the Institute are:

1- To educate productive and original-minded students who imbibe civilizing values, respect differences and have an eye for the common good.

2- Uniting experienced and knowledgeable scholars is crucial for the European academic community. These scholars can make a significant impact by conducting thorough research, advancing scientific knowledge, innovating, understanding their society, sharing academic accomplishments, adhering to ethical values, and demonstrating expertise in their respective fields.

3- Collaborate with educational institutions to provide staff training, develop training methods, investigate problems in non-formal education projects, provide solutions, and improve their standards.

4- Conduct academic journals and scholarly activities in which academics and students can contribute and improve themselves.
